2 More for Project Red

We took a walk yesterday and I just found a couple more things to add to project red. A different color project may be coming up soon, but I'd like to play with this a bit more. I know there is more out there I just haven't had time.

Happy Trail

I have been staring at this preserve we have - I drive past it and wish there were a place to park so I could take a walk through it. Sometimes an egret or two stand there and I long to take their photos (still waiting on that)...today I had a chance to go through the trail on my bike and I took my camera with me. I only took a little time because I had Sean with me in the bike trailer and it was closing in on 90 degrees.

Moonlit Night

I have just wanted to take some moon photos ... and discovered that my tripod does not tilt that far back - so this is hand held and I think came out pretty darn decent for my first attempts (now that I kinda know what I'm doing).

Just for fun I'm taking photos of red items and trying to make them interesting/pretty...but also to have a 'project'. The challenge was extended last week and so I didn't have anything really to work on. I also broke out my new Bees and played around w/those.

Silver & Black

No, not a Raiders fan, sorry.

The challenge this week was silver and black. The challenge has been extended for an extra week, but I think it's safe to post this here since it's not really accessible to the challengers.

I had a difficult week - my computer went kind of haywire and for a few days it was out of commission - I didn't have access to any of my camera stuff, so I had to upload and see what I had in camera on another household computer.

Out of all the silver and black items I took photos of, this was my favorite because it wasn't cliche. (it won't enlarge that much since I had it copied on another computer/site) Hopefully I'll catch up with all of my photos soon, but many were of my children anyway :)

Life is a Bowl

I had a request for some cherry photos that could grace a kitchen wall :) I'm happy to report that this project was not only SUPER fun, but I made my cherry loving friend happy as well.

Foiled Again

Before embarking on a project that included a tin foil layer, I thought I'd take some shots of the foil itself and the foil with water. Not the most colorful, but when I get my lights I bet the gels will make them kinda pretty.
